DMCA Policy

1. Our Commitment to Copyright Law

AfriStream respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of our service to do the same. We take copyright infringement seriously and comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and equivalent international copyright laws.

AfriStream operates as an IPTV service provider. We provide access to streaming content and do not directly host or produce all content available through the service. We respond promptly to valid copyright complaints and cooperate with rights holders to address their concerns.

2. Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that content accessible through AfriStream infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice to our designated DMCA agent. A valid DMCA notice must include all of the following:

1. Identification of the copyrighted work: Describe the copyrighted work(s) you claim have been infringed, or if multiple works, a representative list.
2. Identification of the infringing material: Specifically identify the material you claim is infringing and provide enough information for us to locate it (e.g., channel name, content title, stream URL if available).
3. Contact information: Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
4. Good faith statement: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
5. Accuracy statement: A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
6. Signature: Your physical or electronic signature.

3. Contact Our DMCA Agent

We aim to respond to valid DMCA notices within 5-10 business days. Incomplete notices may be rejected or may delay our response.

4. Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed as a result of a mistaken or misidentified DMCA notice, you may submit a counter-notification to our DMCA agent. A valid counter-notification must include:

1. Your physical or electronic signature
2. Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification
4. Your name, address, and telephone number
5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your region

5. Repeat Infringer Policy

AfriStream maintains a policy of terminating accounts of subscribers who are found to be repeat infringers of intellectual property rights. We will terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyrights in appropriate circumstances and, in our sole discretion, where we determine this is appropriate.

6. Misuse of DMCA Process

Please be aware that under 17 U.S.C. � 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that content is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake, may be subject to liability for damages. We reserve the right to seek legal remedies against any party that files fraudulent or bad faith DMCA notices.
